This Notice is issued under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and applicable Greek law.

2. What data we collect and why
2.1 Interest form submissions
When you submit the interest form on this website, we collect: full name, organisation, role/title (optional), email address, phone number (optional), country, course of interest, number of seats, intended use, and how you heard about the programme.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — processing is necessary to respond to your inquiry and evaluate your application for enrolment.
2.2 Analytics
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service. Plausible does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. Aggregate, anonymised traffic data is collected to help us understand how visitors use the site.
3. How we use your data
- To evaluate your enrolment inquiry and respond within five business days.
- To provide you with a formal seat-enrolment proposal and pricing.
- To communicate programme updates relevant to your inquiry.
- To comply with our obligations under the Strategic Alliance Agreement with MIT Open Learning, including OFAC compliance screening (see Section 4).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data sharing with MIT Open Learning
Under the Strategic Alliance Agreement between StartSmart SEE and MIT Open Learning, the following personal data for individuals who enrol in the programme is shared with MIT Open Learning: first name, last name, email address, and preferred point of contact.
This sharing is required under Section 7 (Registration) of the SAA for OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) compliance purposes. MIT Open Learning processes this data as a separate data controller for the purpose of legal compliance.
5. Data retention
Personal data from unconverted inquiries (where no seat-enrolment agreement is signed) is retained for a period to be confirmed by counsel (commonly 24 months from collection under Greek practice).
Personal data for enrolled participants is retained for the duration of the programme plus the period required by applicable tax, contract, and record-retention law (typically six years).
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interest; and lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA, dpa.gr).
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@tritonlabs.org.
7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies. The Plausible Analytics service we use is cookie-free. No cookie banner is required.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via this page with an updated date.
