Express Interest

Submit the form below. The programme office reviews each application against the participant profile and confirms a seat.

Admissions Review

Per the MIT Strategic Alliance Agreement, StartSmart SEE administers admissions and confirms each seat. MIT does not review individual nominations.

Seat-Enrolment Agreement

On confirmation, the sending organization (or individual) signs the seat-enrolment agreement covering fees, payment terms, participant terms, and IP and confidentiality provisions.

Selection criteria

Applications are evaluated on the following basis. Borderline applications are reviewed with input from MIT faculty.

Technical readiness

Demonstrated engineering or scientific background relevant to the course content.

Professional context

Clear connection between your work and the course objectives — R&D, procurement, operations, research, or related fields.

Background diversity

Balance of academic and industry participants across the cohort.

Geographic spread

Priority given to applicants from across South Eastern Europe.

Post-programme potential

Likelihood of continued engagement with the Triton marine robotics ecosystem.
